Who are we?

BestStar is a North-West based company offering professional portfolio management planning services.  With several years’ experience in the Finance, Oil & Gas, Media, Telecommunications and Government sectors and working to recognised planning disciplines, cover all aspects of planning from assisting in the establishment of planning methodologies and governance processes; to individual plan building; to the development of portfolio, programme plans to monitor multiple projects.

From the outset BestStar will work with you to define your project so that the eventual plan captures all the elements that need to be taken into consideration.  These include the background to the project, the objectives, the scope, the tasks making up the stages of the project, estimated man-days, assumptions, constraints, risks, timescales, deliverables and responsibilities. Once these have been agreed, a detailed project plan can be put together.
 

A project’s success also relies on people. The planning process can be a useful tool to establish communication channels and effect the engagement of the project team and key stakeholders. BestStar can undertake presentations/workshops to foster that engagement and lay the foundations for good teamwork, where objectives and roles are clearly defined.
